I have a number of concepts playing musical chairs in my head right now. When they stop, I'd like to write an LJ entry about them. Until then the best I can do is name them.

Dragons, PTSD, Gavin de Becker, Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, blue anti-acne light, the Buddha, hummingbirds.

Linchpin is an excellent book. I just used that very portion of the Lizard Brain quote with a client today, and watched her eyes widen with the epiphany that hopefully changes her life.

Other than that, I've challenged my friends to work "suck it" into their conversations this week. Nice work ;) ha!

Two parts of my brain: the wizard vs. the lizard. I can totally use that. You are the man, Gordon.

Oh I totally hear you. I'm talking strictly metaphors here.

That's the thing. Dragons are certainly one of the broader global occult concepts/beings.

Plus I adore them.

Easy for you to say. My dragons are social creatures that form a clan (according to Wiki this is the correct term for a group of dragons). You can fool some of the dragons some of the time, but you can't fool all of the dragons all of the time.
