And there goes July.

This weekend is the time to review your previous monthly forecast and create a new one.

As far as mine is concerned:

• My guess was good on work stuff but way off in everything else.
• The stars won it again.
• The cards were broadly accurate but late by a week.
• The industry forecast was terrible… But then it is results season and there were a few surprises. I really would like to see more companies employing ‘proper’, divinatory forecasts.
• The 2010 Reforecast now includes a lot more travel but there was little movement otherwise, more of a general progression.

My August guesses

If you read my last post regarding monthly forecasts, you know that you are supposed to start with some flat-out guesses.

• I find some efficiencies in my work/life. This is really more of a hope because a lot of different projects look like they’re coming into land between now and the beginning of October. Gonna be busy!
• I find out my flatmate is moving out. We make the decision to stay in this house or find one closer to work (see my first point) by the end of the month.
• My September pay doubles as a result of some new projects I land at work.

So I’ve written them up. Let’s see how I do.
